Craig McAllister
Craig McAllister is the Founder and Director of Tender Mac Consulting (Pty) Ltd, bringing over a decade of hands-on experience in the South African construction industry. He holds a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Durban University of Technology (DUT) and has been actively involved in construction since 2012. Throughout his career, Craig has progressed through multiple technical and leadership roles, including: Site Engineer Site Management Tendering Department Site Agent on large-scale construction projects His experience spans both on-site execution and tendering environments, giving him a practical understanding of project costing, documentation, compliance requirements, and contractor grading systems. Having worked directly on major projects across South Africa, Craig understands the operational challenges contractors face — from preparing competitive tenders to meeting CIDB and NHBRC compliance standards. Through Tender Mac Consulting, he now uses this experience to support small and mid-sized contractors in KwaZulu-Natal to structure, grow, and position their businesses for larger opportunities.
